One of the things I wanted to do was to make information and resources available to ministers (full or part-time) and volunteers doing ministry. I try to take from the best, so you will see resources from all types of companies, churches, etc. For many, information is a business, therefore it costs. And boy, does it cost! Just take a trip to your local Christian bookstore. All material on this site will be referenced as best I can. Any original material from me posted on this site is free for the using. We all have the same goal... to share the gospel with as many kids (and adults) as we can. I appreciate the great material that is sold, but love the stuff that is shared. Here's my philosophy when it comes to resources, (see if it will work for you.) "Use what works and forget the rest." Not brain science, I know. What is "just incredible" for one church may have all your teachers ready to strike. You must do what works for your kids and your congregation. I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but hope by sharing what I'm doing, resources I know of and what's working for me, I will be of help to you. Of course, don't forget the best resource we'll ever have is God's Word, the Bible. Good luck and God bless! One last thing....be sure you have fun in your ministry!

My name is Greg and I am a Children's Minister in Texas. I received my bachelor's in
Social Work in the Spring of 1997 and began
working at my church in the Fall of 1997. I was the first "Children's Minister"
at our Church. So, I've really had to start from the ground up as far as
resources, ministry books and props. I am responsible for all kids birth to
sixth grade and their corresponding programs and classes.
