What are the basic needs to use multi-media in my ministry?

FREE, FREE, FREE SOFTWARE
We all know how expensive the software is for office computers. Then add on software for desktop publishing and multimedia creation and presentation. For a small to medium size church, there may not be much in the budget for what many consider frills. Of course, you and I know how important technology is to ministering to children.

But don't give up just because you can't afford the newest and most expensive. There are free or "open-source" alternatives to just about anything you may be looking for.
