Here are some pics of our portable puppet stage I built. We
have use it
for puppet practice, performances in and out of the building. It's quite
flexible. Only the cross pieces have been glued to the end connectors. This
way, it won't fall down, but it can be taken apart and packed up. We can
have one, two or three levels.
I have been planning on painting the pvc pipe, which makes up the frame,
a dark color so it won't show up so boldly if the curtain gets moved during
a performance, however, I have yet to do it.
The plans for this stage came right out of the book Puppets: Ministry
Magic by Dale & Liz VonSeggen of One Way Street.

Here is a two-level setup, without the curtain.
To make assembly easy, I have colored and number dots. So, just match the
dots!
