Let me go on the record right now and say, "I'm No Expert!"  Most of my knowledge or lack-there-of has come from experimenting, observing or just plain mistakes. Whenever a Christian concert comes to town, I try to get in on the set up crew. Not only do you get to meet everyone and usually get a free ticket up front, but you can also see all the stuff they have and how it all works together. The following equipment and tips come from what I have learned so far. Please understand, these are only tools. You can have a very effective children's ministry without them. But they definitely help with communicating to large groups and getting a message across. My biggest tip is to find out what you want, and then get on the internet and shop around until you can find the best price. Some places really up their prices, and others can give you a better price than they have posted.

My Children's Worship area has a sound booth that houses our sound and lighting equipment, computer, VCR, DVD/CD player.
