Video Resources

VIDEOS - Here are some great Christian companies with some great videos for teaching, and entertainment.

Timbuktoons - I met some of these guys at the 2005 Children's Pastor's Conference in Kansas City. Their first DVD out had five short videos that are basically animated object lessons based on five teachings of Christ. My Preteen boys loved these! They come with complete lesson plans, activity sheets all on the DVD or downloadable from their web site. I just downloaded a set of cartoon-graphics for the Armor of God and they look really sharp. I can't wait to use them! If you're working with kids and want to add some new tools to your arsenal, check out Timbuktoons!

BIG IDEA films - the creators of Veggie Tales & 3-2-1 Penguins

Toonacious - This is the creative home of Lenny & Sid. Their first video was "Love Thy Neighbor" which premiered in Churches around the country (USA) around the first of March of 2003. Sharp looking animation and great story line & characters! Their next animation out was a Christmas cartoon called "Tis the Reason." We have had the opportunity to host video premieres for both video.

J.A.M. Films - These are great videos produced by the upper elementary department of the Woodmont Hills Church. They are Bible Stories done by their 4th, 5th & 6th graders. All of my kids love them, and don't make a sound during their showing. Filled with computer graphics, great sets, costumes and kid actors. A great addition to any library. Get them quick, because they only have so many - but they are definitely worth the effort.

SAMPSON MINISTRY RESOURCES - This company deals in video ministry resources. We have a couple of their video seminars (kits include VHS, DVD and audio tapes) by Kevin Leman.

VIDEO ELEMENTS AND CLIPS - if you're looking for elements to add to your own video creations, or elements for your lessons, check these out!

Digital Juice - these are professional tools to bring your ministry creations to another level. I have to recommend the Presenter's Toolkit if you are looking for a great package to start out with! For the cost of using one song, one time from another company - I have thousands of songs, animations, videos, pictures from the Toolkit. Also, check out Digital Juice TV on their site for great tips and techniques in video creation.

Barna Films - a huge collection of video elements for your lessons, sermons and video creations. Check it out! This is a subscription service.

Worship House Media - you have to check this site out! They carry products from all the major production companies! They also have a podcast and usually a free download each month or so.

Highway Video - another great sight for video sermon/lesson illustrations!

Also, check out products from these great artists!

Miss Patty Cake - We've got several of her videos and also some of her CDs. These are geared mainly for preschoolers, but they're great.

Mary Rice Hopkins - We've got a couple of her videos and CDs. Her stuff will work with older and younger kids (and adults).

Dennis Lee & Nanna Puddin' - These videos are just fun! Great story, characters and messages. The videos are great but you gotta see him live! What talent.
